This was made primarily from broken or old plates i also had some broken tiles. my philosophy is that even what you think is trash can make something beautiful!

Cross mosaic
Last year middle school art club worked on a tile mosaic. It was very labor intensive but they still had tons if fun making it. The less fun part was when I had to clean all the dried tile glue off the tiles in order to grout it. Many hours were spent feverishly scrapping glue. But in the end it looks beautiful and I am so glad it is finally hung in the school lobby!
