More Kindergarten

This was loosely  based on pattern. Its hard to see but every other weaving strip has pattern on it. These are so adorable!

-This won Honorable mention at the diocesan art show!

3rd grade

I thought I had more pictures of these...These were foreground, middle ground, background city-capes. Each element was made separately and added to a final paper. Combination of pattern and plain paper

2nd grade

I also thought I had more of these. Shucks! I will add more

It's been a long time...I've been busy!

In the past few months lots of Art has been made. Also I was nominated as for The Elizabeth Seton Teacher Award for the Orlando Diocese. I didn't win, but I got a really nice vase with my name on it!

Photo: 1 in 3 shot of winning teacher of the year! Go me!Photo: Well I didn't win teacher of the year but I'm honored just to have been a finalist. They gave us all crystal vases with our name and school on them, Aaron Love bought me flowers without knowing!

We had a school wide art show where all students PreK3-5th grade has a piece of art in the show. What fun!

A happy day for me!

We have zero ruined brushes thanks to Murphy's oil soap! I took down all the ruined brushes ( all 100+) and let them soak over the weekend. 72 were saved. The rest were missing brissles, broken or beyond repair.
